How the daily sequence works
The current UTC date in YYYY-MM-DD format becomes the public seed. A small deterministic random function combines that date with the tray batch number and selects three pieces from Block Master's original library. The order is independent of player identity, score, location, and device.
The date changes at 00:00 UTC. Players in different local time zones may see the new puzzle at different clock times, but the displayed UTC seed makes the active challenge unambiguous.
What is stored
Your score and progress remain in this browser. There is no server leaderboard, public percentile, or opponent list. A missed day does not create a fictional streak. This keeps the challenge reproducible without collecting account information.
Review your decisions
Watch the health ruler after each placement and note the largest drops. A decrease is not automatically a mistake if the move creates points or enables the remaining tray, but it identifies the moment worth reviewing. Recreate that position in the analyzer and compare alternatives.
Daily strategy
Begin with a whole-tray scan, preserve a lane for the most restrictive shape, and replan after every clear. Because everyone receives the same sequence, your best comparison is with your own prior reasoning rather than an unverifiable global ranking.
Train a weak pattern in Practice or read strategy by game phase.
Boundary and replay checks
The daily seed uses the UTC date rather than the visitor's local date. A player near midnight can verify the active challenge from the displayed seed. Reloading the same date creates the same piece batches because the generator combines that public date with the batch number. Changing to the next UTC date changes the sequence.
A deterministic sequence does not make every run identical. Placement choices change which cells clear, which shapes remain legal, and when the run ends. Two players receive equal input, while their boards and scores reflect their own decisions. This is a fair comparison model without collecting identities.
Use a daily review note
After a run, record one placement that increased health, one that reduced hardest-piece fit, and one clear that changed the game phase. Recreate only the most surprising position in the analyzer. A short evidence-based review is more useful than comparing against an invented global percentile.
Daily play intentionally has no indexable archive at launch. Creating one near-identical page per date would add little value. A future archive should exist only when each date has a distinct authored analysis, meaningful result context, and enough original content to stand on its own.
